This one is a mega mix of all loads of good releases on Joker Records.
For those that dont know, this label concentrated on good fun no frills jumpup (sometimes cheesy but not always) floor filling tune with HUGE insane basslines. Lots of well known tunes were given the Joker remix treatment, so theres plenty in there to spot too.
The rip is 192k to preserve the deep bass and will just fit on a cd in audio format
Can be found on www.djmixtape.net in the drum n bass downloads section.
All feedback welcome as usual

Yes mate will work fine
Martyn I must say I dont like this mix at all.
I'm gonna get burned for this but I think its very "flat". Some good tunes on it but none that make me wanna jump up and skank around like a rude boy on speed.
sorry man!

Are you serious? Joker is one of the maddest jump up labels out there!
I will be doing a new dnb mix next week so maybe u will like that
Saying that though, Joker is quite an aquired taste, there are some seriously cheesy tunes on there that i would never play, and those are the ones that people always think of first. There are also some wicked tunes in there too that get forgotten.

Serious mate im affraid. All the tracks on there sound like there missing something (no not a kick drum!
) - probably just poor tracks/poor production imo - just like that shite hardcore madness mix I did!

i have to agree with Simon.. and ive been in to this music for 13 years. There have been very few Joker labeled tunes that ive liked. I have lots on promo, but only a few ever got played. THe early joker stuff was good if i recall.. but im only talking about roughly 2 tunes! the rest (when the logo changed to a 3d joker image) was extremely cheesy... jump up persay... yes... but not jump up as in the style of Shy FX's the message or the shy fx rmx of chopper. (just using those as examples off the top of my head)
Similar to a lot of Bizzy'B's stuff... Weekend and the remixes was a tune.. but little else grabbed it
thumbs down to Joker from me...

im going to dig out my early joker stuff and list what ones i mean... think I have 001 onwards till 010 ...... I remember that the good shit was around the time the very first trouble on vinyl stuff was released
yes, Bizzys early stuff was quality... but brain recordings never released anything THAT catching... apart from weekend remixes and 16 track ting.... (was it 16?)
btw... just had my copy of squelch (sub focus rmx) dropped off to me... check it out.. strongly reccomend you grab it when its released!

ive had this in the car for the past 2 days to and from work. not my cup of tea as such but makes a change from the norm. was worth the download just to be reminded of doug e fresh and the get fresh crew
i would have listened to daves set more than once if it wasnt recorded so lame

ok.. when i recorded it using music maker, i added tune breaks... now this has created 27 seperate tunes... can I use XP to convert WMA to MP3?
otherwise if i upload it.. it will be 27 poxy files!

I dunno why you bother split it up mate.
If people want it as seperate tracks they can split it using nero etc... Its what I do.
you could zip all 27 tracks and upload the zip file. Eitherway dont really matter if its WMA or MP3 - as long as it aint WAV
