As it's 20 years since the three-door was announced, Fast Ford is organising a special display and parade lap at this year’s Ford Fair — and we want as many Cossie owners to take part as possible.
Send us your details, and in return we’ll supply you with a free entry ticket and a pass to get your Cosworth onto our special infield display area at Silverstone — right next to the Fast Ford stand. Then, round about lunchtime, crank over that YB and head out on to the Touring Car Circuit for some parade laps. These aren’t like your normal track sessions, they’ll be under controlled speed with a pace car out front, so don’t worry about your mint 11K three-door getting mashed. Note: this is for genuine Cossies only, so no reps or transplants, sorry folks.
To sign up, email us your name, address, car type, colour, year and registration number and a piccie if possible to:
su.kear@futurenet.co.uk
and she’ll stick you on the list.
Helmets don’t need to be worn, but you must bring your driving licence with you. If you’ve already signed up for Concours, don’t panic — you can still take part in the parade laps, though obviously you’ll need to be parked in the Concours area at all other times.
Sorry, but we can only accept advance entries. Turn up on the day without registering first, and you’ll have to pay.
Ford Fair’s on Sunday August 7. For general tickets, book online at www.fordfair.co.uk.
Thanks,
Simon
