Mk1 escort Rallycar unfinished project
Escort MK1, 1973 on a K, 2 door. Was being biult into a rallycar but has never been finished, has been laid up in the garage for a while!
Fitted with 2.1 pinto, stage 3 head, kent cam, vernier cam wheel, lightened and balanced bottom end, running twin 45 webbers, 3 piece big bore manifold with 2.5 right hand system. Has Lumention ignition and seprate rev limiter. Mocol oil cooler, red top facet fuel pump and filter king.
Bilstien gp4 front struts with roller top mounts, World cup X member, double width-anti dive kit, vented discs, AP four pot calipers, braided hoses. NEW bias pedal box.
Tran-X five speed gearbox with quick shift ,1 piece prop, Braced english axle with LSD, rear disc brakes willwood rear bias valve,Panhard rod, anti tramp bars and it is turreted with bilstien rear shocks. 7x13 minalite wheels.
Has a six piont full cage with door bars, battery in the boot, capri centre fuel tank, is firewalled.
Other bits include, hyd handbrake, Cobra Imola bucket seats ,willians harnesses, nav footrest, twin cam dash, all fuel lines and brake lines inside, alloy door panels, Fia master cut off switch, front quarter bumpers [not fitted yet]
It needs welding to floor pans [set of 4 supplied] plus a few patches to get through an mot.Ther are new fibre glass front wings with biult in arches, [still wrapped up!] A new front panel and a spare fibreglass bonnet. The car will need a paintjob!
Spare wheels include 4off 8x13 alloycats, 4 off 7x13 comps with good inters fitted, plus at least 12 7x13 eight spokes.
There are other bits and bobs, will find it all if someone buys it!
Looking for offers around £3,000. [ you could not buy all the bits on it for that!!]
This car is well worth finishing, I will answer questions if I can!!
