Hi people I am restoring the underside of my 2wd sapphire 89 cossie. I have no pics yet but will get some soon, i have read some of the posts on here and its seams like the chassis rails are a bast*rd to sort out, i am at that stage now i have stripped all the underside sorted the light rust and now i can see 3 bad point 2 small holes where the box section join together under the boot floor and one hole about 2 inches by 1 inch near where the cross memer bolts to the chassis railon the passenger side is it ok to weld a plate i there cos i dont really wanna put a new chassis rail on. another thig i need to know as i am replacing the fuel lines how do u remove the pipe from the tamper proof conector on the top of the fuel rail.
