why the confusion over the Iraq war?

Remember why we went in in the first place? They were trying to link Al-Queada to Saddam Hussien. That didn't work so they went with WMD's.

So we don't need to worry about the 100's and 1000's of Iraqi's killed, all our troops out their getting hammered? If they live local to what happened then they better see a doctor, cause of the amount of asbestos flying around NY that day.

Why is it not within taste?

Not only is it a picture of something that is already in the public domain, but everyone is entitled to an opinion.

This has nothing to with taste - if it promoted 9/11 as something good, then THAT would be in bad taste.

 

Twin towers was a massive tradegy and a waste of human life on a large scale.

Not as large though as the number of people who die everyday from the fact they are denied drugs in africa because the (mainly american) companies holding the rights to make those drugs wont allow them a license to make them.
Its a real shame when profit for share holders is worth more than millions of lives, and i can see why some people are angered at capatilist lifestyles like they ascociate with the US.

As i said this was a program on about this, which showed the structual engineering would have held BOTH towers up, they were designed to withstand earthquakes etc...............

But this could be argued for yrs & yrs.

 

Oil could be one.............lets face it, all these theorys boil down to 2 things MONEY & POWER

 

So the fact that Mr Bush and the Binladen family have a mutual business relationship with regards to the oil supplies and that the usa are making billions a day rebuilding the country that they flattened, does that not strike a little strange to you....

Sadam Hussain never killed, maimed or attacked any person,place or living creature from american soil yet the yanks and allied forces flatterned the whole country, killed his family and has now left the country in ruins, finacially, and politically...but thats ok cause the media said it was him.....

 

There was a very good documentary on 9-11 a few months back on Sky. Was a good 2 hours long and it showed all kinds of Theorys/Conspiracy behind the attacks.

Thing is though we'll never find out the whole truth behind the tradegy as it is kept behind closed doors.

For one, after 9/11 no internationall flight were allowed in/out of america...

So why did he order his own private jet to fly the Binladen family(who were harboring the cheif suspect in the muder of the people on 9/11) back to there own country?

To be honest mate, I stopped getting hugely irate about the war in Iraq, as it seems to me that it was going to happen regardless.

It's just fortunate for those involved that the end has justified the means to some degree.

All the stuff in the middle is the big mess - don't get me wrong, I like Micheal Moore. I've read all his books, and his revelation of the inscest and corruption within the US government and big business is terrifying!

 

Hit the nail on the head there Richard, the corruption in the big business' / Government US/UK etc ... is so deep rooted and well managed it will never come out.

So like people have said up the page, no one will ever really know the truth other then the people actually involved.....

It would be wrong to blame it on GW. It was down to the puppeteers pulling his strings. Cheney, Rumsfeld etc. Although even GW can't keep his story straight. He has been recorded as saying "I saw the first plane hit the tower, and thought, thats a bad bit of piloting", when he never saw the first attack, he was reading a book in a school.

For those who still aren't convinced.... were you aware of the four Wargames going on that morning? I can PROVE that happened from this link. It shows Rumsfeld being grilled by US Senator McKinney, he doesn't really have any answers apart form um's and ahh's.

As to why it was done? As I said, money, oil and control over the populus. Try doing some research into how many US politicians are directors of companies that "won" contracts in Iraq.

If you have peer to peer, I highly recommend watching "In Plane Site" and "Loose Change". They both present far more evidence than I can ever hope for in a thread. I have been studying and researching this for the last 6 months or so, some for far longer. If you refuse to believe me, then at least convince yourself nothing is up by looking around the net for conclusive proof of the "Official" story. (Some of which is censored).

And as for the Towers collapsing. Like I said, if you dropped a basketballl off the top of the towers at the same time they started collapsing, it would have reached the ground a few seconds after. If you put that into physic equations it just doesn't fit. Where did all the energy come from to pulverise all that concrete into itty little bits?

The good thing about all this investigation into 911, is that a BIG sex scandal in the White House has been discovered and people are getting worried.

i know this is a bit off topic, but my opinion is that saddam hussain had to be taken out of power one way or another he was a tyrant and a dictator who basically starved his own people of their rights, whether we went to war for the right reasons or not im not so sure about but it had to be done sooner or later.
