Right basically, someone at work (im at McLaren incase anyone didnt know ) works with composites (ie carbon fibre panels) and is currently making a carbon rear spoiler for some intergrale's or something.

Basically he asked as he knows im into my fords whether there would be any interests in making some carbon rear 3 door spoilers as he can make the moulds etc himself and if he was to get about 12 ppl definatly interested he could poss do them.

As far as i understood ideally they'd need painting but then unless it was a black one would prob look poo anyway on a 3door!!! but obviously would be a shit load lighter reducing the weight of the car etc.


So would anyone be interested?!?!

Also if there was something ppl needed in big numbers in carbon i might be able 2 talk him into doing it aswell

Well i can find out if he can get them spot on to use striaght on a car but from what i understood he's aiming to make them so they come out ok to use but doesnt matter if not spot on if their being painted after anway!!! By spot on i mean the weve not looking perfect of the odd pin hole which obviously doesnt matter when being painted!!!!

Would think he could prob make anything if he can have an original item to take a mould mate, but as i say he's gonna need at least 12ish serious ppl before he sets out making molds etc cos its obviouly gonna cost him to make them up etc
