You would have liked the three I saw at the weekend in the country here.

2 harmless huntsmen spiders but over 4" from end of leg to end of lef. Not a nice site with a body about the size of a 2p. Then a white tail, my first sighting. All my google research had paid off and I was able to identify the black body with small white diamond on the tail. They give a poisonus bite and was about the size of 1p.

Maybe your one was a pet once as not much survives like that in the UK due to the climate and diet.

ive herd huntsmans stand on thier back legs and run at you?
Dude they are harmless I know the one you are on about though. Think it was some David Attenborough show I saw once. Bit of a nasty sight. Huntsmen look shocking but are harmless. G/f's parents have a place in the country and they are everywhere along with several poisnous snakes so I am constantly on the look out things!

Trouble is, its the ones you dont see that do the harm!

had a huntsman as a pet in a jar whilst in OZ

fed it dead flies off of the light fitting.. fookin quality watching it eat tho.. didnt like coco pops for some reason.

In a warehouse I was working, saw a few Rd Backs.. absolutely tint compared to what I thought they would be..

Those huntsman jump Mahoooosive things. The first flat we looked at too rent, had one on the wall.. Was a nice flat, but left prompto and looked at another one

All spiders are venomous. The level of toxicity of the venom and whether they are able to puncture human skin is the issue. My dad was bitten in the garden at my grans house a few years back and it put him in hospital.

you'd have thought a spider would like bread tho fussy bastid he was... fly's only.. So after the supply in the lamp shade bit had run out, we thru him out the window only 2 floors up

please note, ground floor flat and no animals were harmed God's creatures and all that
