What can I fucking say eh?

To all those that went to the weekender and where disappointed about the early closing time of the rave tent on Saturday night.

The situation was totally out of my control.

Basically the land owner (NOT the event promotor - who, by the way, is a top bloke and tried everything in his power to sort things) said he had complaints from the noise - 2 miles away in the nearest village

He was pissed out of his skull and demanded it be turned off - at the insanely stupid time of 11.30. There was absolutly nothing I could do and I can only appologise.

What makes me even more mad is that after it was shut down he was found in the bar beerin' it up and having a laugh and dance

The sunday night (yes sunday, the day of rest) we had the system louder - and guess what - NO COMPLAINTS!

The bloke is a cunt. Harsh words - but very very fair IMO.

DaveEsCos - your a legend mate. Dave drove all the way up from Kent to play a set and got greated with this shit

We are still trying to get to the bottom of it all as the land owner pissed off a lot of people.

I dont think anyone is as disappointed as I am

no worries here Si. When I heard about the situ me and everyone with me couldnt believe it, noone is blaming you or newtech at all. Is there anything that can be done, after all people paid for it so surely the fella has to reinburse someone? that said, easier said than done i suppose

 

yea was a bit disappointin mate, esp as the dodgems still had thrie music on

was a good weekend tho, and we made our own entertainment

 

Yeah I was a wounder si, there was a lot of people wondering what was going on and I know you tried your best to keep the tent open for as long as poss.

All I can say gutted for ya mate, I know how wound up about it you got. Especially as they closed it just as it was starting to fill up

i agree si i know you did all you could but agreed the owner is a total wanker my votes that next year it goes to a different venue as we was unfairly treated was a good weekend apart from the fucking us and you guys over but big thanks to you and the rest of the ntp crew
