How is the battery held in?

Do you have the Bar that goes over the top of the battery?

Or the side one, that clamps onto the base of the right of the battery?

I see alot of 3drs with no top clamp, but mine wont line up with the side clamp hole

 

Small clamp on the right held in with a 13mm bolt Ryan!

 

ps If yours won't line-up then your battery is the wrong size

Is the saph battery bigger than a 3dr item

Its a Genuine Ford Silver Calcuim Battery

 

There should be 2 bolt holes in the tray Ryan to allow for a slightly bigger battery to be fitted. I have swopped saff batterys for 3 door ones and never had a problem!

 

yeah there is jules, but just my luck its too big for the inside hole and the too small to use the outside hole, foookin typical

Oh well guess i will have to buy another battery.

or get a bigger clamp made up for the outer hole....

 

I beleive the bolt is a 10mm NOT a 13mm

 

Saffs had the clamp bit over the top of the battery i believe.
