hi if i had a 1" bore pipe and run 1 bar off boost .and a 2" bore pipe and run 1 bar of boost. is it true the advantage is that the 2" bore pipe will flow more air quicker or is that not true

TBH your question doesnt make sense,,, where has this pressure (force action on a area come from)

dont tell me your thinking about making your boost pipes larger?

complicated business, the gas speed would be higher in the smaller pipe, so depending on your cam timing and the number of rpm you are pulling it may actually empty the cylinder better than the 2" one due to a larger draw in the combustion chamber from the higher gas speeds, its all about an optimum size for a particular amount of flow
