Default Finally on the road.

Had a few probs with the zetec turbo escort lately.

Indicators had stopped working and tried their best to set it on fire.
solved the problem by seperating and re-taping the wires under the fuse box that had rubbed through!!!!!!

Had some serious exhaust smoke as well. tbh its always done this and i had been avoiding fixing it.
Bought a new t34 to replace the standard t3 that was on as i thought the seals were fooked. didnt cure the problem. Also had to get a new front pipe made up which i am well chuffed with. Thanks to Alexzvhcabrio who suggested the bailay oil breather. sure enough i pulled the pipes off the bottom and hey presto no smoke.

With having the 18's fitted i was seriously struggling for clearance in the back arch's.
Took the rear discs and hubs to my machine man an d he skimmed 2.5mm from the mounting faces of them both. now i have no scrubbing what so ever.

Took the car for an mot an it failed because they thought there was a hole in the chassis leg behind the rear spring. brought it home and cleaned it up. turns out it was a drain hole. one on other side as well. Cleaned up both sides and undersealed. took it back an it passed. well chuffed.

Brought the car home and the battery light was on. Then needed an alternator. the one that was on it was still under warranty so didnt cost to change.

A bit more laggy but now i can put some miles onto the engine before i get it live mapped.

been an eventful couple of weeks but its finally on the road and i am very happy with it.
