looks like a nice toy,

watch the discriction though, as i have spoke to the guy who is selling it and it has road gatrac gearbox, plus the spare is a road box both have standard pattern and are not dog leg first,

still worth a bid, got some nice parts fitted to it,

but remember its a race car so would need some paint and tidying up but it will be very fast,

Aly , the owner , does a good conversion for roadcars by using the GETRAG box ( get it right Martin FFs ) , the gears are fooking huge as std and the boxes are in every scrapyard around the country at peanuts money . Ive also spoken to another previous owner , who now runs an Eggenburger Thunder Saloon you may be interested to Know

yer the owner was on about a guy with the ex eggenburger car, he did not mention it had been thunder salooned,

did ask him about the chassie and any history for the eggenburger car but sounds like he does not have any, must be very quick as its running a sequenual six speed box,

the point is tony a race gatrac box as you know is 2k plus, dont know anything about the road box, but it can not be as strong?

and if they are why have i just spend loads on getting another race gatrac box,

should have gon down the scrappy lol

hi hooligan, from memeorie you had an rs500 jacket? for sale right? just never got round to sorting anything out about it,

GETRAG !!! NOT GARTRAC YOU GOON ! The BMW boxes are just as strong , huge gears , its the internals in the GpA box that you pay for , ratios , gear type etc... All the big Bm's have Getrag Manual boxes , M5's are 380hp if i remember rightly , they last well .

Yeah I've got the jacket, the 3 Matchbox cars, 2 Superchamps 1:18, a salesbrochure, a sweater, a copied workshopmanual and also some RS200 salesbrochures, ford motorsport showroomposters and stuff. Used to have the RS500 showroomposters as well but I sold them.

Tony, shame you had to retire the car for the race
I liked what you did with the arches, very neat!
