when renewing the windscreen you do have to

hi peeps, just wondering that when u change the front screen on a mk4 escort is it worth changing the front rubber seal to? or will the old one be ok?

if you do need to change it...howmuch does one cost?

You can re- use the rubbers, but I bought a new one from Ford when I had mine changed. Wasn't cheap though, about £40 I think.

I reused my old one as it was in very good condition,no cracks or splits in it.Regards Micky

ok will try a few places tomo and see what they quote me...anything more than about £20-30 i wont bother...then it'll be a case of cleaning up the old one before it goes back in
