they aint capri ones though as the side bolsters stick out too much

90 Specs with different headrest then. I was just going from memory on the pattern. Think you're right about Astra ones being Capri style.

 

They were just described as "RS Recaros", but the seller says he had no idea what they came from. I will E-Mail him and ask for a close-up of the pattern and see if he will tell me how he got hold of 'em if he don't know what car they're out of.

I thought the were probably non-ford, but most of the other Recaros I see from other cars look completely different where, as said, barring the headrest, that to me just looks like an S2 seat. The only other Ford Recaros I can think of with that style of headrest are Capri ones, but as also said, the rest of the seat is definitely not Capri, but it does ring true that it may be Astra, cos that's a typically 80's/early-90's Vauxhall headrest, hmmm

If they were out of an Astra or similar, would they still fit my MK4 Escort without tooooooo much bother u reckon?

ya cant say for sure till ya see the pattern, its deffo the same ouitsides as a 90- spec recaro though

 

might be the rare rs1800 seats with strange headrests. Look like the fish net recaro headrests without the nets

 

either way, they'd suit my car, lol

 

at a glance they look like 90 spec but the centre part looks all grey dont it might just be piccie quality, if they are then not 90 spec but deffo some wacky headrests, ive seen em b4 but like jano said wiv fishnets.

I've seen them headrests without the net before, but on non-Ford style seats, they are defo Ford style, but the headrests don't match. If they go within my budget then I'm really not all that bothered

Yep, 90 spec turbo seats, the cloth is the same as that used on 90 spec XR3i's
