Iain different tuner prefer different things

mark@MAD swears by hks iridiums as dave mentioned, stu seems to favour 071's as the ngk platinums aint available anymore

karl now prefers c57's same as i belive SCC do ( dont quote me as ive never used or asked rob)

its a mind field but tbh who ya trust with ya car is what ya get imo

pmsl

think its just personal opinion tbh

i dont have a missfire caused by the plugs on my car, i had a intermitant miss at 5900rpm ( all 3 times i hit it ) that looks like it was the dizzy cap as that looked rough as fook but apart from that it took 4k miles after i got it back from stu to find it

but i recon stu has a box of 071's and karl as c57's

btw whats ya idle like with the c57's as i heard it causes a lumpy ( but perfectly safe !!!!!!!!!) idle

Not bad, I'd still try the ones that cost 2 quid each first though, then there's nothing lost if ya don't like em

correct mate

1120834 retail price around £12 a set

i did have a set of NGK 9`s in mine cost £90.00 lasted about 3000 miles

The ford ones cost me £4.50 for a set thats £85.50 cheaper and do just as good of a job and would prob last longer

yeah a bit, but i think they idle differently on greys anyway so wouldnt know as it had them at the same time. Also i had a fooked coil so it may have been that and not so much the plugs, who knows, who cares as its running spot on now

I used to use ngk9's but Mike R and Harvey now both use 701's or 071's whatever they fooken are so thats what I use I think they last longer than 2k though as thats the reason Mike stopped using ngk9s iirc...
