I paid about 8 quid for 4, so I bought 8
Edited to say I bought them off Ford dealer, and used my RSOC traders discount
speak to stu as hes got em off the shelf there about 15 or 20 quid, must admit i neve checked as i bought a few things and was toom scared to look at the bill and have to destroy em so the missus dont see em
as for tommorow not sure ive got a new set that i can see if i can get em to someone to drop em off to ya tommorow if its for fordsport
, there not far from madmacs house actually if thats a help
, they aint been used and are not gapped though so ya gonna need to gap em

Iain different tuner prefer different things
mark@MAD swears by hks iridiums as dave mentioned, stu seems to favour 071's as the ngk platinums aint available anymore
karl now prefers c57's same as i belive SCC do ( dont quote me as ive never used or asked rob)
its a mind field but tbh who ya trust with ya car is what ya get imo

i take his opinion as he knows what hes doing
i dont as tbh they was fine in my car

yeah i know mate i bought my 071s off stu, but karl said they were making it misfire like a pig when on boost so he fitted some c57s which leads me to to beleive
a, 071s are shite
or
b, karl has a big box of c57s in his garage hes trying to punt which is the reason pops has some as well
pmsl
think its just personal opinion tbh
i dont have a missfire caused by the plugs on my car, i had a intermitant miss at 5900rpm ( all 3 times i hit it
) that looks like it was the dizzy cap as that looked rough as fook but apart from that it took 4k miles after i got it back from stu to find it
but i recon stu has a box of 071's and karl as c57's
btw whats ya idle like with the c57's as i heard it causes a lumpy ( but perfectly safe !!!!!!!!!) idle

071's in my last engine @ 35psi no problemo at all and 071's in my escort no problemo at all
they are cheap and work also favourd by mike and harvey aswell as stu the problem with the 071 is people dont know how to gap them properly! they have to be gapped at 45degrees

1120834 retail price around £12 a set
i did have a set of NGK 9`s in mine cost £90.00
lasted about 3000 miles
The ford ones cost me £4.50 for a set

yeah a bit, but i think they idle differently on greys anyway so wouldnt know as it had them at the same time. Also i had a fooked coil so it may have been that and not so much the plugs, who knows, who cares as its running spot on now
they have to be gapped at 45degrees
ps: explain the 45 degrees gapping as i never got that ence why i get stu to pre gap mine

I used to use ngk9's but Mike R and Harvey now both use 701's or 071's whatever they fooken are
so thats what I use
I think they last longer than 2k though
as thats the reason Mike stopped using ngk9s iirc...

motorcraft 071s last a good 3k in mine change them at same time as oil. they run spot on nice idle, peak boost 34 psi holds 2 bar.£12 a set personally these are the best plugs i,ve ever had.
