I am already going mate. Ferry is booked, camp site and tickets to le mans are booked. Went last year at it was awesome.

 

where and how much is the estimated total amount required.

 

Its in France Total cost of the ferry, tickets, camp site etc was Ł245 iirc. We booked in January because the ferry is a lot cheaper. Expect to use 3 - 4 tanks of fuel. The roads are awesome. Flat, with no pot holes like here

Be warned though, if you have road angel and other radar detecting equipment. The police dont like it out there and its illegal to have it in the car. A scooby driver got a 300 euro fine because he was pulled and they saw the detector in the car.

already organised 8 Car convoy from maldon in essex 2nd year for me 4th or 5th for most of my mates. Suck a great place to go for a weekend, as long as the weather is good

 

I am going, been booked since last year!! Cant wait- got tickets for the Castrol hospitality tent aswell Free food and free beer

You'll be pushed to find camping and ferry tickets on sale now - they normally sell out six months in advance. We usually have to reserve ours a couple of weeks after we get back from the previous one!

I've turned up before and got tickets on the gate... they TELL you they sell out to make people book in advance

I have a mate who turns up every year on spec and has done for 10 plus years!

You can just show up on the day, infact you dont even need to book a camping spec either. Most people just leave enough gap infront of their car and pitch the fooker up their. The atmosphere at Le mans is second to none, even better than most F1 GP's

 

Driving out on the wednesday... and staying for 2 weeks!!

Going in my luxo-barge... best thing for le mans... v8 and air con!

Nigel, gutted mate but i just checked at work today and ~18th June is probably the worst few weeks i could choose
