propshaft center bearing

has any 1 replaced 1 on a 2.0lt petrol transit early type e reg 1 r they all the same as sierras to replace is it a bit of a coooont to do ? thanks

Absolute bastard mate, pressed onto the prop.

Take the prop off and get it to an engineering shop

We did it on my Escos with no big problems. The problem was to take out the kind of circlip that holds it on the prop-shaft. Then some hammers helped

i have always just changed the probs before now

but there so hard to get tho id just changed the berin

If the bearing is like Escos (which has the same as normal Sierra) it schouldn't be a HUUUGE problem. My mechanic + me we did it in 30 minutes or so and we never done that.
