Had a welded rear diff in one of my 2wds
Now go on i want to here the gospel mate

so whats the best diff to use then this gripper thing or an ATB?? whats the differences in them? as im thinking of getting an ATB for mine.

im hoping to beat my 13.1

want some good 2wd competition not these girly 4x4 with there good 60ft times and then poor rest of the run

I'm up for it mate but my last 3 runs have ended up as follows

1.Broken diff (3rd run)
2.Burst an oil return pipe (1st run)
3.Broken diff (1st run)

So i havn't had much practise for the last couple of years

 

more or less same spec then apart from you have bigger turbo so your probably 20-30 hp up on me

i want to get into the 12s but dunno how well my diff will take it

gonne change my clutch cable tomorrow just to be safe with that

 

I'm only going to have 215's on the rear Craig so i doubt that extra power will mkae any difference especialy with my lead foot off the line

 

ium only running 215 nankangs atm

got a 13.1 on them tho

Yes mate all weekend at the Fordsport thing
I have done about 20 miles with it tonight and it feels a bit different but not a lot! I'm guessing until i really give it some out of a corner i'm not going to notice the difference and i am expecting it to want to swop ends Doubt i'll notice much difference on a strip though will i?

 

until it wants to step out there will be no drivability differance , when it does , keep the foot in and it will go where you point it

as for the strip - only time will tell ivenever done timed strip work with either type of diff - your the guinea pig m8
