thats because you have a problem with your engine loom or a sesnor,,,
there is no reason why it shouldnt idle right

The idle adjustment screw is on the throttle body underneath where the hose attaches Rob. It has a lock nut around it.

Spadge, that's on the 2wd isn't it ? On my 4x4, there's a screw inside a recess below the "entrance" of the throttle body.

I personally would run 1000 to 1100 rpm to keep a good oil pressure...especially on a worn engine.

It might be until is seizes, then it's a pain - not that you have to adjust it every day.

gareth, yep i know i have a problem but when im home its a choice between (1) spend all day pulling the loom apart to fix somthing that aint that bigger problem if i just disconect it.....or (2) go out and enjoy driving the wheels off the little sucker
