After paying nearly £1400 to Norwich Union (even though I'm 28, but no no claims due to company car ) I also tried Heritage:

http://www.heritage-quote.co.uk/

They increased my mileage limit from 3000 to 5000 and saved me £1000!

I drive a 1988 (f) Escort RS Turbo S2 and if I can remember I'm sure the guy at heritage say classics can be over 10 years, obviously only certain cars are on the classic list though.

HIC told me that b'cos a 1990 is now over 15 years old, then it qualifies for classic insurance. Both them & Adrian Flux use the "15 year from manufacture" basis on deciding if it's a classic or not.

Dry..I'd try somewhere else. Even the newest S1 is 19 years old. Companies like that take the piss !

Due for renewal in May so will leave Swinton alone. Stayed with em cos we had the GTi thro them and just changed the reg over. Was EXACTLY same price with the declared mods. The S1 is 195bhp and Gti only 115bhp ! Not complainin tho. Tried to find Dominion web site but can only find insurance for personal injury under that name not motors. Any one know their web address or any others that could do a good deal ?

Become a RSOC member, its worth it just for the discounts through Dominion, also they dont care about your no claims but will hold them for you if you wish
