Default Suspension hardness

On an ERST Series 2..... with adjustable shocks...

is it best to have:

front = soft (or softest)
rear = hardest

or what ?

which is best to get the most grip and put the power down properly...

Ive set mine at half a turn from soft on back and front shocks and is a good compromise between hard and a soft ride

Soft front gives bad torque steer on my car at least. Same with tire pressures.

Equal hardish tyre pressure all around. Front shock 1 turn, rear shocks half a turn. Makes a very easy and nice car to drive but not the most aggressive of setups.

Go out and practice - but use/try some different settings

No one can ultimatly advise as we dont know how you launch, what compound tryes your running, what camber you have etc etc... only you can find whats best for you.

Thats a good start but too stiff on the back and it wont grip as well round corners

You can book a trackday for under £100 now and go and have a play all day with stuff like that

Tuning chassis for straight line performance and track performance are two totally different things.
Also, "as ____ as possible" is always a dangerous way to put one's words.
