Escort Mk1 2 door track racer. Need help!
Hi guys, I am busy building a Mk1 track racing car. I am going to use a 2L pinto but need some advice on the Diff, gearbox etc. I am based in South Africa so I guess some of the standard parts on the escorts over here are different from the UK. I am trying to get info from the local guys but they are not being very helpful.
I will be running the standard 4 speed box but on the differential side I am not sure. I have a couple of standard diff's in the shop that I can use but am wondering if it is better to go ATB of LSD? And if so wich one?
I am also not 100% sure what diff's the cars came with in the South African market as I am getting contradicting information.
Also what pistons, rods and so on are you guys using for a 2.1L pinto?
