Thats quite a nice effect, use the brush for that one?

 

i copied this pic onto a new layer over the original pic of the cossie,
then reduced the opacity so i could see the original layer of the cossie aswell
use the eraser to get rid of the parts i didnt want
then change the layer type until i found one that suited it best

 

Nice! Think I will have to give that a go!
