Hi All

My sunroof is currently in a poor state - it's shut, but the handle has come off from the spindle it sits on, which has lost half of it's teeth.
I can put the handle back onto the spindle, but it doesn't have enough grip to open the sunroof, and I don't really want to force it as I can see it shearing off the rest of the teeth. The handle itself seems fine.

What's the best option? Weld it back on, or replace something (and if so, what?)

 

I've added a couple of pictures here so you can see the damage, is this metal part easily replaceable?
