4x4 Sierra Cosworth front axle removal

Hi. Any tips for removal of left front Axle to replace leaking seal. I see right side has a snap ring but left side has not however l cannot get the axle out

The left front drive shaft should just pull out. There is no circlip like inside the diff on the right side.
