Zetec and it's engine codes.
Okay.. I'm going to make myself a zvh.
2.0 Silvertop NGA is the one to prefer.
Then there is the NGB/C.
Been looking so a NGA, but there aren't so easy to find in Denmark. Found one blacktop. But my confusion is when it comes to the Focus 2.0 Zetec engine with codes like EDDA/B/C and so on.. Can anyone explain me the difference?

Yeah, i know. The silvertop is the preferd one to use. It's the Focus variants EDDA (and so on) that also are 2.0 Zetec's, but different engine codes for some reasons..
Not sure what the ST170 and Focus RS are, as they aren't an available option for me.

NGA is the MK1/2 Mondeo Silvertop 2,0 Zetec-E engine.
When the Focus was introduced in August '98 also the last MK2 Mondeos got the Blacktop engine. Ford switched to (all) 4-digit engine codes at this time, but kept the old 3-digit ones in cars like the Mondeo that were still in production.
NGB, NGC and NGD were all 2,0 Blacktop engines in the Mondeo MK2.
Focus 2,0 Blacktop were EDDB, EDDC, EDDD and EDDF; Duratec-ST (ST170) was ALDA, Duratec-RS was HMDA
Cougar 2,0 Blacktop were EDBA, EDBC and EDBD
