Hi guys, I had a weird issue with my Fiesta that almost left me stranded.

I was driving up a slight incline, 50 mph, when I was hitting a soft limiter at around 4k rpm. It then lowered to 3, then 2 and eventually 1. Luckily there was not a soul in sight so I didn't cause any accidents.

Has anyone ever had an issue like this? My obd reader doesn't pull up any codes and there's no signs of mechanical issues. It also recently had a new clutch fitted.
