Talking RS Turbo S2 Owner in NW!

Afternoon All,

I have been looking at getting an RS Turbo for about 10 years maybe more and finally i have got one......

It has loads of history, some from 1990 so quite cool going through it all, i know one of the owners used to be part of the RS Owners club so i was hoping others on here may know more about this car than i do, here is a brief summary on what she has... pics to follow.....S2 Escort RS Turbo 1990
Recent restoration, less than 2500 miles ago - This was in around 2018
Escort Cosworth wheels & toyo tir's

Engine
2.0 zvh silver top running ofab efi
Engine has had a full rebuild and it's running an updated turbocharger.
Bottom end bored to 87mm,
Wiseco foraged pistons, arb bolts etc
Kent 34 cam, Cosworth 4x4 turbo, Fiat coupe injectors, 3 bar map sensor
Airtec cooler & radiator, 1.8 diesel box with limited slip diff, Paddle clutch
vernier pulley, new valve stem seals, high pressure oil pump,
stage 3 cylinder head, twin fan conversion, full Samco hoses, new fuel pump

Exhaust
Full scorpion exhaust,

Suspension
Koni adjustable suspension, 1"lowering springs fully polybushed throughout,

Paint
in 2018/2019 i believe it had a full restoration including:
new inner wings, new inner sills, new inner and outer arches, new floors - All genuine RS Turbo,
Respray inside and out,
It does need some bits and pieces so keen to understand where I need to look to protect my baby - I will be checkout out all the earlier threads about rust.

Interior
Recaro seats in black leather with grey piping
Rear seats also re trimmed - Could do with a tidy up
New headliner
Momo steering wheel

Original glass with reg etched on
Working sunroof

Brakes
Willwood 4 pot front brakes
Vented front discs, refurbed master cylinder, sapphire cosworth front callipers, braided fuel lines

Yeah definitely, I need to refurb the wheels and get the paint bits sorted and I am there

I know someone in Scotland did some work over the last few years but cannot find anything in the history …. I am hoping this post will point me in the right direction..
