Default Sierra sapphire RS sports CAT

Hi there
can anyone recommend or has had fitted a sports CAT in their saf 4x4? I’m looking to put one in as she’s been de-catted for years. I’m not sure what make/type or exactly where it should go along the pipe. Currently has a 3.5” scorpion exhaust.

much appreciated !

Cos in theory she should have a CAT , anything Kreg and later, according to MOT regs so yeah I don’t want to, and a lot of mechanics let them through, but just doing it to be on the safe side.

My 92 should have one being a green top but its never been an issue and personally seems a waste of time and money.

Its up to you obviously but I very much doubt sapphire owners are rushing out to refit them.

I'd only do it if going back to totally standard system etc.

Might mean you'll need a remap also if your running up'd bhp due to the restriction on the exhaust.

I also suspect it's an MOT failure if the cat has been removed. In saying that, the number plate is also an MOT failure !
