wish i could say cossie leather, but its out of a mk5 xr3i.

lot of people say that about mirrors when they see pics
but they do look better in the flesh, i fink so neway.

best thing about this rep tho is that it should be as fast as a real standard one.
stage 1 turbo and head, chipped, piper cam, pipercross induction, large fmic and
o yeah loads and loads of boost.

 

i have to say - its a massive disappointment to open the bonnet & see that!

but as you say - it might keep close to a standard 1 & youve saved yourself a lot of money in the process.

but surely - if you build a rep you want a standard looking 1? ditch those mirrors!!

got a bit of a problem loom is in now engine turns and sparks fine but no fuel iscomin out of metering unit seems to be plenty of pressure goin in any ideas?

lookin good mate, fair play to ya!! theris a plug that goes onto the metering unit, maybe see if theirs power gettin to it, no idea what its for right enough, makesuer the sepperate fuel ECU is working ok also!

 

 

woo hoo got it started! strange problem in the end, cold start valve was stuck open and pumping loadsa fuel in constantly flooding it.
havent heard of this happening to anyone else.

soon as i wanted to go out in mine it wouldn't start the sensor plate is really stiff gets even harder when fuel pump on i no its suppose to but its whey harder den it shud be. when its pushed down the car starts straight away but when u let go it dies, itslike theres not enough suction to pull air past it, it barely moves when cranking, checked all IC piping etc. neone got any ideas, cheers

 

very nice mate just like my new xr3i cos rep but ive no archs coming soon. ive got morettes on mine but i hate them cos i hate light clusters. i,ll swap you for your lights if you want. was it a hard job putting in the rs turbo engine?

easy puttin rs turbo engine in, took 1 wk end, near impossible to get it to start and run rite.
