Cosworth Sapphire K211 AUX just recently bought her but devoid of any meaningful history, apart from some good receipts for recommissioned work. She is nouveau red with cloth interior, told has green injectors and 3 bar MAP, but I’m keen to know what else, what bhp. It would be good to know any history of where she was before and anything anyone knows or of any paperwork that could be forwarded if it’s possible. Cheers Stu

Yeah I bought her from the auction, told was sat not used from 2015 to 2023, but not why and there was hardly any history, the service book was from a 1991 car so must have got mixed up somewhere. Did you have her whilst in Essex , I used to live in Essex so might well have seen her before. I’d be grateful of any further history especially on any engine work/ mods (I’m told green injectors and 3 bar MAP) or even any paperwork that might help. If you’re in the club still it would be great to meet. Ta Stu

 

Yes the car was off the road for no particular reason . Just wasn’t a family car having 3 kids it just took a back seat and years go by and she just sat there under cover being started every so often. Yes the car did have green injectors 3 bar map sensor rs500 style front intercooler and an alloy rad in it when I sold it . She made 300 bhp at 18 psi but this was like 12/13 years ago it was tuned at a place called engine advantages that was in witham . How is the car going now ? I’ve still got the original full set of door mouldings off that car .

I suspected some kind of good work was done, as she drives fantastic, the engine bay, and interior looks superb, that’s a great reflection on the care you had whilst she was tucked away I guess.. . I’d certainly be interested in anything you have.. I don’t mind the side trims off, but who knows I might fancy putting them back. I can try and PM you with my details if you’re ok with that?
