I’ve bought an rs1800 that has a Langford build and runs in Webber carbs!! Well sort of! I’m down in Suffolk any ideas on who’s the best place to take it to so they can sort the engine! Might take carbs off and go back to injection and throttle bodies 🤷♂️🤷♂️ This is what I’ve bought!
Seems to have some flat spots down low in the revs or seems like it’s hampering when you get it going it’s not too bad! Gets too hot under the bonnet so needs some vents installing
Bin the carbs and fit some Gradient Engineering direct to head throttle bodies. They are fantastic, I had some a while ago. Billet cnc made and cheaper than jenvey https://gradient-engineering.com/pro...hrottle-bodies
As the RS1800 is a rare care in the UK and it looks mint on the outside it would be worth considering going back to original EFI setup. And with its standard 130 bhp it still is a quick car.
These wheel caps don't look like the original ones. Could you please tell me the parts no. on the back side and take a detailed pic of the wheel with the cap? Thanks.
