2wd cossie rear diff question
Hi fellas,
I did a search to no avail. At least to..this specific question anyway
Rear end jacked up. Appears to be lots of resistance to try and turn the rear wheels. Should the lsd rear end spin freely? I'd imagine some resistance and both wheels should spin.
I need to do the brakes anyway, so I'll rule those out. Just wanted to know what the rear end should feel like.
Cheers

If the car is in gear the wheels can only turn in opposite direction. If it has an lsd the wheels will be hard to turn, with an open diff it turns freely. When the car is in neutral the wheels should also turn freely.
Thank you. So it seems like I should be confirming my brakes aren't binding.
