Default Range Rover insurance

Ok,not a ford, but , I'd quite like an SVR , Does anyone know of an insurance company that would quote a 3rd party only quote, I've tried quite a few places but no one seems to be interested.

£6000 was cheapest by the way ,5000 miles fully comp

All the insurances have gone up lately on such jeeps as there so easy to take these days...

Have you no thought about a older model like sport or L322 supercharged?

The problem with Range Rovers with regards to insurance is they are getting nicked right, left and centre at the moment, thanks to this marvellous technology of keyless entry. I’ve been told it’s near on impossible to get one insured in London. I don’t know if smothering one with anti theft devices would do much to an insurance policy on one but I’d advise anyone with a keyless entry high end car to do so

ideally bling bling cars need to be garaged imo but if not they need as many layers of security as possible keys kept in faraday pouches or a metal tin, disc loc, decent alarm and immobiliser, tracker, security posts etc

One of my workmates has a new RR Sport and only eight companies would quote him and some of them wanted it to be garaged overnight and that’s in central Scotland.

might be best cant insure it i used to be a landrover range rover mechanic 15yr ago they were shockingly unreliable. the AA said it was the most broken down vehicle they went out to. i live in west cornwall i see range rovers in general waiting recovery often. we got a jag landrover main dealer near truro i no of two or three people have taken different second hand models back with dpf and water pissing in and limp issues. one person asked my advise i said stick with it through there warrenty if your brave enough all three had to have there money back and now drive bmw or pugs sorry to be so negative there are some good ones im sure that hve not had a spanner put to them. third party in cornwall which is all but the cheapest place to insure vehicles is more exspensive than fullycomp. i nearly pmsl a couple of years ago they did a phone in program on radio 2 on the jeremy vine show about how unreliable rangerover and landrover were or still are its nearly bankrupted some people saying they paid as much as 50k for them

I've been searching for a new compact SUV, and the Jeep Avenger really caught my eye on the Vidi site - jeep-vidi.com.ua/ru/avtomobili/avenger. It’s got that classic Jeep toughness but in a more city-friendly size, which is exactly what I need. The interior looks cozy and well-equipped with all the tech features I could want. Plus, it's pretty stylish! Curious if anyone has experience with the Avenger – how does it perform in day-to-day driving? I’m seriously considering taking it for a test drive soon.

Hi Lee,my neighbour's 17 year old Son opposite me has just passed his driving test, his dad bought him a most basic 2010 VW Polo. He was quoted over £6000 for the insurance on a car not even worth £2000!!!
