Default Focus rs mk1 drive shaft

Hi all, looking for a near side / transmission side drive shaft retainer c clip for the end of the shaft to box end . No luck with Ford , anyone bought one recently,thanks

Ok, anyone know if plain round c clip be ok as the one that was on it originally had shoulders on even if that was original one ? Don’t know if the shoulders has anything to do with the spiral grooves as you push the D/S in . Thanks

This is a picture of 1 from the short shaft of a pair I've had for years, I suspect it's an original.
The clip on it's own is not for sale.

The shoulder on yours is probably wear..
The clip is made from 2.3mm diameter material.

Small squares on graph paper are 1mm,

Thanks for that bud, mine is the same as that but deformed, the shoulders I talked about are where the two prong ends sort of bend as in you’re photo.The clips I’ve found all seem to be round so I’ll have to go with one of those. Thanks for posting 👍focusv8
