Default Last pre ULEZ cossie drive

Thanks to London mayor Khan today is the last day for driving for free within the m25. Made the most of it and visited my parents in Orpington as won’t be paying him £12.50 to drive from midnight tonight.

That man needs a proper lynching

he is just rotten to the core, corrupt and evil.

How London have tolerated and even encouraged him, is a mystery, and extremely sick

Yep me and the Mrs are in the same boat, just had to chop in two perfect Fords that were paid for because they were both diesels and non fucking ulez compliant, if I would have kept my van it would have cost me £250 a month just to go to work, where I live we are just outside of the new expansion of the ulez zone but a mile or so down the road and you are in it, all of our family are inside the zone so the Mrs had to get a compliant car too, totally pissed off being honest but I don’t want to and have no intention of giving the fucking government of this country any more money out of my wages, didn’t want to finance another car either neither did the Mrs but I’d rather do that than pay that khan cunt £12.50 a day, monthly payment on the finance is cheaper than the £250 a month I would have had to pay out if I kept my van, it’s total bull shat it really is but as said above the working class always seem to get kicked in the bollocks

It’s clearly just an excuse to raise more money for TFL as the air quality is actually very good, especially in the outer boroughs. I can’t stand khan and hopefully he’ll get voted out next year before he brings in the next plan which is to charge everyone £5 a day for driving in Greater London regardless of the vehicle.

There will be thousands of people who just cannot afford to buy a new or newer compliant vehicle as they are struggling to live as it is and are quite happy with their older vehicles, they are the ones who this will hit the hardest. It is virtual blackmail to get people to buy newer vehicles or somehow have to find more money each week that they have'nt got!!!

Long overdue a proper revolution.

It's probably too late now though, hard to see the way out of it all the way things go

that’s us being honest mate, I really didn’t want to finance another car but I’d rather do that than pay £250 a month just to go to work

Well thats the problem there dont think and arnt interested in anything like that.. Like you say an iconic place for all car meets and bikes etc... its all just a big money maken scam and apart from odd camera knocked down etc everyone seems to just put it up with it thats why it happens sadly like the fuel costs over here etc

Hi Charlie, I was'nt having a dig at you and your wife, just pointing out that there are thousands of people who will not be able to afford a more modern vehicle or the daily charge, how are they going to cope with this ?

all good dude I didn’t take what you said as a dig I was just frustratingly saying I’m in exactly the same boat, with the cost of everything on the rise we couldn’t really afford to get new cars, catch 22, if we’d kept the cars we had it would be pay ulez, financing was cheaper than paying ulez especially for me as I now work in the zone, forced into it being honest

lots of vehicles that attend are over 40yrs or older or ULEZ exempt, the issue is that window of cars not 40 yrs and not exempt, its going to hurt them but doubtfull it will kill them
