I have a kitcar with a 2.0 zetec (silvertop code NGA). I’ve had the crank oil seal fail, emptying the car of oil on my in-laws drive…



The ‘slide on’ crankshaft gear/washer (pictured below) was really stuck on, no levering could free it, so eventually I drilled and tapped a couple holes into the gear to fashion a pusher. So the gear now has two holes in it. The washer is also looking pretty knackered.


I can’t find any of these for sale, which means I think it’s going to be a case of going to scrapyards to find a replacement. My question is - does anyone know if this part is the same across all zetec engines? Mine has 20 teeth and is 59mm in diameter.
