Hi guys, i have problem with getting the hinge pins out of the hinges, they are really stuck! I used a blow torch, WD40 and a screwdriver with hammer. I got some movement in the upper pin and now it doesn't move any more, still haven't tried the bottom one. They need to be replaced because the door is sagging a lot.

 

plenty of deep breaths and keep at it... had one in mk1 escort hinge same lucky i was restoren car but ended up just usen loads nd loads of heat and light oil soakn it over time it come out in the end but burnt all paint off etc due to heat... there can be very hard to remove tho and im not sure of a simple fix sadly

Get some punches instead of hitting a screwdriver

 

there used to be proper tools for this.

Thanks for the recommendations! I will buy some punches. The fiesta goes to the garage 5 june for the yearly examination, maybe the garage hase a special toof for these suckers.
