Hi ,
We've just put a 2.1 zetec turbo into my brothers s2 rs turbo. It was running a 2.1 zvh beforehand.
Only things changed apart from 8v to 16v head is the inlet manifold.
We can start the engine but wants to rev at approx 1500/ 2000 rpm. There's no cam sensor, so I can't see what is causing the really fast idle. It's running ofam ( mega squirt ) management.
Has anyone got any ideas?

ISCV stuck or incorrectly tuned
Throttle stuck?

What inlet are you using?

 

OK so found that the air leak was caused by the breather system, now idles as it should do. Thanks for your input
