Sierra XR4X4 blowing ABS fuse
Hello all, sorry that this is my first post but I need some help please as I’m stumped.
taken on a project XR4x4 which hasn’t moved (dry stored) since 2004.
I am at the final stages now for MOT however I can’t get the abs pump to run as the two fuses stretched to the purple relays under dash keep blowing.
I have disconnected abs pump, fuse still blows.
I have checked the relay wiring continuity and no issues.
I have also checked the pressure sensor and one wire (brown/white) is showing it has resistance). If you unplug the sensor the fuses won’t blow.
If I bridge the brown & brown/black the fuse still blows.
If I disconnect the ABS ecu the brown/white wire shows no resistance. I snipped the wire at ecu end and the fuses still blow.
I am really stuck here abs not sure now where I should be looking. Can anyone help?
