Just bought myself a bit of a project 2wd sapph..I've got a number of electrical issues with it so working through them. (See my other post)

One issue I the water temp gauge wasn't working..so I went to check the wiring on it and found this...


Position of normal waterctemp sensor

Mine has been cast over closed??

Anyone got a clue as to what's going on?? And how I'm meant to get water temp readings?...

looks like you may have a 4wd or [or engine ]

the temp sensor is at the back of the head beside disstick where your coolant cold start sensor is lee
