First time posting I think. I might be in need of a fuel tank, are all the repro ones produced by same manufacturer, and I could just buy the cheapest. Or are there different/better quality versions. Got my original one cleaning at the moment, but it seems very thin in places.

 

Welcome along, the majority of people I've spoken to and seen on YouTube use the sierras r us one.

I think over the years the cheap repo ones have been ditched as they have suffered with surge or starvation issues.

Adam Smith on youtube has just done a full removal and refit of the fuel system.

 

Thanks for that, definitely need one now, been cleaning it out for the last few days, and found two tiny holes, one above the seam, and the other on the top of the tank. It's also very thin in places, and had outlet flow problems too. Thanks

 

Bin the old one for what it costs and as above the sierras r us ones seem to be the most popular and I’ve just bought one for my RS500.
