Default Big brake recommendations (front - 4x4 Sapphire cosworth)

I've been going through the search function and I'm blind or not searching the correct terms but most of what I've found is a little old and not currant.

So I now have some 18" RL7's and the original brakes up front look lost, not only that I would think some better stopping power is never a bad thing.

I have seen the big disc kit that keeps the standard caliper but I really want a big caliper to match the disc.

Any recommendations, pictures for inspiration would be appreciated.

Heres mine looking spacious

I’m running 4 pot Brembos of a Mercedes with 356x32 mm discs. Probably not as good as a set of APs, but a lot cheaper.

I'm seeing a few variations of calipers from other makes, just wondering about mounting them?

I designed my own brackets and had them made by someone on the CNC.

If I had 18” I would try if the 6 pot Porsche Cayenne 18Z calipers would fit.

Hi Mark, look at Hi-Spec Brakes, they have complete front brake conversions with either 4 pot or 6 pot calipers. I have had them on my Saff for a long time and never had any problems with them.

The calipers come in a range of different colours. The 17inch Softlines are staying in their boxes for the future?

I think I've seen a post on here that set up only works on 2wd cars.

Hi Mark,The Softlines will be a nice little investment for later on! You are gradually getting the bug to start modifying your Saff, years back you wanted it to remain completely standard. Once you start it will make you want to do more and more!! I must take you for a spin in mine so you can see the difference!!!!
