Revotec oil pressure gauge problem ?
Me again with my seemingly never ending electrical problems !!!!
Still searching for my revers light connector but that s another story. Finally received my startup map.... loaded into the ecu, checked engine over and decided for the first time to primé the il pump and fire her up. Primed oil via distributor shaft, saw oil coming out of Turbo feed, topped up oil and turned ignition on and ..... oil pressure guage indicated 0 bar. Dismantled gauge.... 12v was connected to signal, ground was connected to 12v and signal connected to ground (I m begining to understand the previous owner was not electricaly inclined). Put all wire back as they should be.... needle shot up to 7 bar... went back down and now doesn t budge. I think it s knackered.
My question is what other oil pressure gauge can I use that will work with the revotec sender ????
Cheers

No worries ! Bought a cheap ebay gauge and it works ! I ve got a nice 7bar oil pressure reading now. I ll fit a proper vdo or stack item when the car is finally up and running.
