Been developing some sierra brake dust shields for my project. Just the standard version. So it is a modified replica part. More for my project than anything else at this point.

Originals. Too far gone to be used so time to make new ones

Parts cut and rolled. We used the original as template. As close as possible



Had the parts welded up to become one single part

Mock-up & fitment

 

Last bit of modifications, fine tuning and final Mock-up fitment.

caliper was to close so I had to fine tune the ears. Bending it back or forward didn't do it justice and didn't look right











Caliper now clears.

I measured diameter. Measures up to 29cm from side to side so there should be enough clearance for a 14inch rim



Busy working on 2 production parts that will be used on the car. Hence why making 3 units

I'll do another vid with a side by side comparison to check height / depth. That's the only thing I need to check but I think it will be clear.
