Hi all. My dad has a 91 plate XR3I MK4 in black, wondered if anyone knows the best type of product and colour to use on the interior door handles so they match the door trims and don't look so scruffy please? Many thanks
That's the problem with these handles, they tend to look very tatty!
I sanded mine down so they were smooth and painted them black, seemed like a good idea at the time but wish I hadn't bothered now.
If I was going to do it again I would probably just take them off, give them a good clean and then maybe use something like PlastiKote to try and colour match the best I could.
Probably worth picking up a spare set of handles of eBay to experiment with beforehand.
i think best thing to do is eather paint them with plastic paint gray but you will need to plastic filler prime them first to try nd get rid of how rough there are due to uv damage.. but easyer way and best would be to get the flocked via a company in gray it maybe about Ł50 or so but that will be them sorted out for good
I'm introducing a JL RD1000/1 to 2 10W3v3-4 subs, it requires 4 awg wiring, so I planned to do 4 check huge 3 change, will the ELD on the adverse terminal reason any issues? Some other data or proposals would help, still genuinely new to vehicle sound, additionally I'm not presently running any tune programming. TIA.
