I am booked in to go to the new venue for the Classic Ford show in Ardingly, West Sussex on Sunday. My Saff will be in the display area so looking forward to a good day.It will be the furthest journey in my Saff this year as like most people just been keeping local.Be filling up with Shell Optimax today which will cost quite a lot!! Last time I went to Mallory Park which was a lot further away from Southampton but this place should only be just over 2 hours away.Hopefully there will be a good mix of Fords on display. Anyone planning on going?

You probably need to have an armed escort carrying that much optimax around...oh to be rich!!! LOL
Have a good show and please take some pics and post them up here.
Shows how long its been, as Optimax was rebranded to VPower over a decade ago
I've been eyeing up the show as its only a couple of hours for me, but I'm not sure. I've been going to a lot more non-brand focussed shows over the last few years and tbh, I've been enjoying them far more. What were previous years like for Classic Ford? Busy/quiet, rows of focuses with little in the way of anything creative? I'm not particularly obsessed with old school, I just looking at things that have been done differently or well
I used to go when it was at Santa pod as loved watching the track action but haven't been since they weren't doing it there anymore. Have a great time, look forward to seeing some photos

I meant Vpower, which cost me Ł2.07p a litre!!!! Ł84.87p for just over 41 litres!! Hopefully get me there and back to Southampton!! Classic Ford shows usually have a good mix of classic and newer Fords not rows and rows of Focus RS , ST and Fiesta St models. Mallory Park was good as there was also track action all day.
Had a good day at the Classic Ford Show today, a very good turn out with a great selection of cars.No problem getting in and being shown to my display spot. Met some friendly enthusiasts and had a lot of interest in my Saff. Nice Isle of Wight registered Escort. Been in the Classic Ford magazine Nice Mk 1 Escort. Do you think the engine is big enough in this Capri? I think it is a bonkers road registered car!!!! Gran Torino Yank muscle car. There were a lot of modified Anglia 105Es Plenty of Escorts. Mk2 Cortina's Very nice 3Door V8 engined Capri. Nice RS2000 Mk1 Cossy engined Escort Stunning paint job on this Capri This was how the Ford rally cars used to get transported around and worked on. Genuine Alan Mann racing Mk1 Escort. Nice 2 door Mk2 Cortina GT Track modified 100E Nice Escos The Lotus twincam Capri that Ford should have built!! Lovely car which has been in classic Ford magazine. Another nice one. There were a lot of top condition cars inside as well. Mk1 zephyr Lovely condition Granada.
I am glad to hear it went well and you liked it as I did fear that venue would harm attendee numbers compared to the Pod etc and no track action, cracking pics

Hi Steve, there were a lot of people and cars and a friendly atmosphere, I think it was pretty good considering there was no track action. Quite a few traders and various food outlets.Seemed well organised to me with quite a few show people to get you in to the right place to park your car to show it.
