As I was coming along the M27 from Portsmouth to Southampton yesterday just in front of me a nice looking newish V8 Yellow Mustang had just been pulled over on to the hard shoulder by an unmarked BMW estate Police Car. The guy was still sat in his car and the Police were just getting out of theirs so his day had just gone from a nice drive to a shit day with a speeding ticket!! You have to be so aware these days as there are a lot of unmarked Police cars on Motorway patrol. Traffic was light so probably just stopped for speeding. Felt for him though as it is a gutting feeling when you see the blue lights behind you and you realise it is a Police car!!!!
Going to a customer house in bristol, i whipped on the m5 as it was just easier, just plodding as i had the wifes car, i must of seen atleast 4 un marked cars, just knew it was as you can tell via the grills roof ect.
Everyone was still speeding along. Worst bit was i shot over to taunton after and just got caught doing 47 in a 30. I sworn it was 50mph limit but the letter today says otherwise

since i left the motortrade im a truck driver now . dont no whats worst some of the fukin idiots on the road or is my car ready yet. that portmouth bit was all fleet services a few years back. my boss used to warn me the dibbles are c...s on that bit. i was in one of the services one traffic copper got me up at 2am asking where the wagon was based. i went fukin spare i said its on the side of the fukin trailer retard wakeing me at this hour. i rang his sargent first thing so did my boss he was spitting flames. thirty speed limits are easy to reconise the road furniture is alot closer together. if dont drive for a living its easy enough to get caught out. touch wood my licence is clean and thats way i want it to stay. i dont speed of my own patch. all the fuz down in cornwall use estate cars marked or unmarked for traffic.we drive mainly shit wrecks so when you see a nice shiney estate lurking about thats them
Since I got my license back around 99/2000 time it took me up until a few years after leaving the UK to get my license clean, got caught quite a few times and since its been a while since I went back to the UK I've heard its really bad with undercover cops/cameras on m25 etc. I'll find out later this year.
I was driving in upstate NY a while ago following a bird in a civic when she moved over from the fast lane and the cop got me, let her go even though she was going faster than me. Had to send letters and have a court appearance and in the end got fined $105 with $95 in court fees, it had got busted down to littering so they was able to keep the fine amount rather than have to send it to NYC. Its just all one big cash cow here, everything costs a fortune where a car is concerned.

i crap my self about going to these big citys now. where i live in west cornwall its like going back in time. were still in 80s 90s mode as far as traffic cops and buisy traffic they very rarely come down as far as us. the nearest camera to us is 15 mile away. no mobiles or nothing its not productive enough for the fuz. theres to many fukin idiots not keeping up with the flow of traffic. i think stateside you get a ticket for not indicating. they want to inplement that in this country we could all stop paying tax
