Default RS turbo, TPS / fuel ECU help

Hi,

just had the RS set up and hit a problem with the fuelling when the throttle is open/on boost.they said it’s either the TPS, Fuel ECU or maybe the fuel pressure reg as it’s not getting the signal that the throttle is open so not increasing fuel.

How do I test the Throttle position sensor, fuel ecu and wiring between?? And does anyone have a wiring diagram??

cheers

So I’ve got 12v at the fuel ECU with ignition turn on and only 10.9 volts at the two outer pins on the TPS plug….. Ive checked continuity on the TPS between the pins and shows nothing with throttle closed and intermittent on fully open. Guessing the TPS is dead??

With ignition on I Bridged out the TPS to show full throttle and voltage to my EMPA stays exactly the same (8v)…. I was under impression that when at at full throttle the voltage should increase to the EMPA?? But mine does nothing….. Or does the car have to be running to test this??

ordered a new second hand TPS but now thinking maybe fuel ecu ???

I believe the fuel enrichment on the metering head is current controlled not voltage.
