Sierra pinto to DOHC EFi
Hello everybody and greetings from Croatia!
I'm having a bit of problem figuring site out, so I'm sorry if I posted in wrong section.
I'm after some advice,help.
So, as the title says, I'm transplanting DOHC EFi engine in carb pinto Sierra. Donor car is 1990 Sierra Carvan 2.0 DOHC CL, and project car is 1988 hatchback Sierra Ghia.
I'm having wiring problem, specifically the ECU loom. On donor car ECU loom connects to the car loom via 3 jacks behind battery. I dont have those jacks on the loom of a project car. So, my question is, is it possible to connect ECU loom on existing loom of a project car? Can I separate wiring required for ECU to run and swap it over to the existing loom of a project car? Any help is much appreciated, and sorry for my bad english🙂
